The release of Syncapse Platform 4.2 introduces new features and important performance bug fixes This post was written by Barbara Ott, Senior Product Manager at Syncapse. For Community Managers, the new Respond features include more native Twitter capabilities and a streamlined response workflow option to make responding more efficient. Administrators can now choose to reveal or hide deleted posts from their Facebook Respond stream, allowing them to remove distracting and unnecessary information from the stream. What is in 4.2? Here are some of the features included in the 4.2 release
o Quasi-Direct Response workflow is now supported for Respond
o If a Respond Workflow involves 2 steps AND the user is both an Editor and a Publisher within the Respond Workflow, the Platform will publish the Response as soon as the Editor submits the content, eliminating the need for the user to find the Response and submit it for publication
o Photos are now visible and can be displayed within the Twitter Respond stream
o Facebook locations will have a setting to “Hide deleted posts”. When clicking this option, Respond Facebook and Respond Twitter will hide posts deleted by the Platform
