Syncapse Platform 4.0 Release Introduces New Social Management Features to Improve Global Collaboration and Workflow

This post was written by Barbara Ott, Senior Product Manager at Syncapse. The Syncapse Platform team is thrilled to release Platform 4.0! This deployment introduces several important features, in addition to some bug fixes. Here is a summary of features included with our release of Platform 4.0:
  • Support for geo-targeted Facebook Photo Posts (one of our most requested features).
    • This allows our users to create a Post that includes one image.  When published, the Photo appears as if it was published natively in Facebook.
  • When creating a Response, Responders can now:
    •  Schedule a response.
    • Add a campaign to responses.
    • Add comments to workflow actions.
    • Inside the Respond stream, Responders can mark Audience/Fan posts as read. This feature helps Responders understand what content needs action and what has already been responded to.
      • A new Respond filter will allow stream to be filtered on read versus unread content.
      • Ability to filter the Respond stream on an Audience member/Fan and see all content that an individual user has published to the Brand page.
      • Ability to write internal notes on an Audience member/Fan or on what the Fan posted to the Brand page.
      • Support for Facebook Events.
      • Support for Keywords in Twitter Respond.
      • Ability to assign tasks to members of your location:
        • Tasks can be assigned for unpublished Brand content.
        • Tasks can be assigned for user generated content.
        • All task history is tracked. 
Detailed Feature update:
Support for Facebook geo-targeted Photo Posts This new feature alleviates a huge customer pain point. The Platform will allow editors to create Facebook Photo Posts that can be geo-targeted. When published, these Photo Posts will behave like a Photo natively published in Facebook. This means the Photo appears large in the Timeline and when clicked on, will open up using the Facebook Photo Viewer. Filtering the Respond content by Audience Member/Fan Inside Respond, if an Audience/Fan member’s name or photo is clicked on, the Respond content is filtered to only show content created by that Audience Member/Fan. Marking Audience/Fan posts as read Posts can be marked as read and the ability to filter on Read versus Unread content has been added. Filtering the Respond content by Audience Member/Fan Inside Respond, if an Audience/Fan member’s name or photo is clicked on, the Respond content is filtered to only show content created by that Audience Member/Fan. Write internal notes on a piece of content or about an Audience/Fan For all Fan/Audience created content inside Respond, users can click the “View Details” button and a Notes modal appears. Notes on a piece of Content:                               Notes on an Audience Member/Fan: Support for Facebook Events Editors can now create Facebook Events within the Platform Assign Tasks to members of your Company Tasks can be assigned and tracked by the Platform.
